Day-1 : Arrival and Transfer to Gangtok
Our representative will be there to receive the Guest at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction) – He will be assisting for the transfer to Gangtok – Gangtok the capital of Sikkim Suits all from tranquility to adventure, land of monastery, mystic rituals & festivals at an height of 1670 meters / 5480 feet and is the most visited spot of India - It is one of the most beautiful town with varieties of Rhododendron, Orchids and butterflies - Nearly 135 kilometers 4½ - 5 hours drive – Check into hotel – Evening free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping center - Over Night stay at Gangtok.
Day-2 : Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir & nathula
After breakfast, in the morning, start for excursion to Tshangu Lake (12400Ft / 3780 Mts / 43Kms in 3Hrs one way from Gangtok) &through Kyongnosla Alpine Sanctuary and Baba Mandir (13100Ft / 3994 Mts / 16Kms in 1Hrs one way from Tshangu Lake) (no entry for foreigner national, they are allowed to visit till Tshangu Lake, with a valid permit. They also have to be 02 & above is number to visit Tshangu Lake). Situated at a height of 12400Ft / 3780 Mts / 43Kms in 3Hrs one way, with an average depth of 50 ft. The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around. Back to Gangtok and Overnight at Hotel.
(Incase of Landslide or due to any other reasons if Tshangu Lake is closed then an alternate sightseeing will be provided)
Optional Nathula(14140 Ft / 4310 Mts / 20 Kms in 1Hrs one way from Tshangu Lake) Baba Mandir (13100Ft / 3994 Mts / 16Kms in 1Hrs one way from Tshangu Lake) is an Indo China border, controlled by the Indian Army & is situated approx 20 Kms ahead of Tshangu Lake at an height of 14140 Ft / 4310. The journey to Nathula & Baba Mandir is same up to 16 Kms. At this point the right arm of the “V” which is 4 Kms takes one to Baba Mandir & left arm of the “V” which is 4 Kms takes one to Nathula.
One can opt for Nathula Excursion by paying a supplement cost which varies from month to month. Nathula permit gets confirmed 24 hrs prior to the journey date & it is subjected to permit availability as it is allotted as per lottery. Nathula is closed on Monday & Tuesday for tourist. Organising the permit at the last moment is not possible & a clear window of 72 Hrs with proper documents is required to process the permit. To process the permit we would require 04 Passport Size Photograph & photo proof identity card such as Voter Id / Passport / Driving License. Pan card & Adhar card is not accepted as identity proof by authorities. There is no refund, incase the permit is confirmed by Sikkim tourism & due to whatsoever reason (Land slide, Heavy rain fall, VIP Movement, Health issue etc) one is not able to visit.
Day-3 : Gangtok-Lachung (8000 Ft / 2439 Mts / 124 Kms / 05 Ω Hrs)
Pick up at 10 am from hotel in Gangtok to proceed towards Lachung. On the way to Lachung you will enjoy magnificent location like Tashi Viewpoint, Kabi Lungstok, Naga Waterfalls, the confluence of rivers Lachen chu and Lachung chu at Chungthang, Twin waterfalls and Bhim Nala Waterfalls. Lunch will be served on route at Namok. You are likely to reach Lachung late in the afternoon or evening. Upon arrival proceed for check-in at hotel for overnight stay in Lachung.
Day 4 : Yumthang Excursion and transfer to gangtok (11800 Ft / 3598 Mts / 25 Kms / 1 Ω Hrs)
After breakfast drive towards Yumthang situated at an elevation of nearly 11800 feet - On the way you may visit the famous hot spring which is known for its curative properties of skin diseases - Yumthang is a valley near the river Lachung Chu surrounded by mountains where the tree line ends - In spring the valley erupts in riots of colors as Primulae, Rhododendrons and many other Alpine flowers in full bloom along with snow covered valley except in autumn - During winter Yumthang is somber with snow all around and the snow clad mountains adding to the ethereal beauty – later proceed for your onwards journey to gangtok, upon arrival check into the hotel.
Day 5: Gangtok half day sightseeing and transfer to Pelling.
After breakfast proceed for halfday sightseeing of gangtok city, covering, Banjhakri water falls, flower show, and Directorate of handicrafts, later return back to the hotel collect your luggage and proceed for onwards journey to pelling, upon arrival check into the hotel and overnight stay .
Day 6 : Pelling Full day Sightseeing
After breakfast proceed for fullday sightseeing of pelling covering , Rimbiwater falls , kanchanjunga view point,Kanchanjunga water falls and Khechepori lake, Pemayangtse Monastery and Rabdentse Ruins. Later return back to hotel and overnight stay .
Day 7 : Pelling to Darjeeling transfer:
After breakfast checkout from the hotel and proceed to Darjeeling, upon arrival check into the hotel and overnight stay.
Day 8 : Darjeeling full day sightseeing
Early morning at around 3:45 AM drive to (8000 feet / 2440 meters) Early Morning at 0400 AM visit Tiger Hill, famous for sunrise over Mt. Kanchendzonga, on way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop and back to hotel. After breakfast proceed for visit 07points, covering The Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, PNZ Zoological Park (closed on Thursday) Tenzing Rock, Tibetans Refuge Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view), Rope way, Japanese Temple & Peace Pagoda. – Back to hotel – Evening free to stroll around the area - Overnight stay at Darjeeling
Day 9 : Darjeeling to NJP drop
After Breakfast check out from the hotel and drop to NJP railway station for your onwards journey to NJP, as you go home let the everlasting memories of the tour cherish your day.
