    Day 01 : Srinagar-Pahalgam


    Arrival at Srinagar airport and met by our representative . Meet & greet and proceed to
    Pahalgam . On arrival check in to the Hotel Arguably Pahalgam is one of the most beautiful
    places on earth; the town of Pahalgam (Village of Shepherds) offers breathtaking views of
    Himalayas. On arrival we check in to the hotel. After reaching Pahalgam we have rest of the day
    free for individual activities. Stay overnight at hotel.
     

    Day 02 : Pahalgam

     

    After breakfast we have a full day at leisure at this beautiful town at the foothills of
    Himalayas.One can go on for walks or pony ride to one of the many beautiful spots around
    Pahalgam. One of the spot is the Mamaleshwara. It is only a km or so downstream from
    Pahalgam, and on the opposite side of the Lidder, is this small Shiva temple with its square,
    stone tank. It is thought to date from the reign of king Jayasima in the 12th century, even
    earlier. Stay overnight at hotel
     

    Day 03 : Pahalgam-- Gulmarg

     

    After breakfast transfer to Gulmarg. On arrival check-in at the hotel. After lunch you can enjoy a
    pony ride and also enjoy a Gondola ride (cable car) to Khilanmarg (at your own cost). After
    Noon visit to local sightseeing by gondola ride (at your own cost ). Gulmarg is one of the most
    beautiful resorts in the valley. It is at 52kms from Srinagar. Gulmarg has been a resort for the
    kings like Yousuf Shah Chak and Jahangir who used to visit frequently. Gulmarg boasts Asia's
    highest and longest cable car project, the Gulmarg Gondola. The two-stage ropeway ferries
    about 600 people per hour to and from Kongdoori Mountain, a shoulder of nearby Afarwat
    Peak (4,200 m (13,780 ft). You can also try skiing on your own. Gulmarg has one of the best ski
    slopes in the world and also has highest golf course in the world with 18 holes. Stay overnight
    at hotel in Gulmarg.
     

    Day 04 : Gulmarg -Srinagar

     

    After breakfast transfer to Srinagar. On arrival check in to the Hotel . Afternoon enjoy a
    Shikara ride on the Dal Lake . Overnight at the Hotel
     

    Day 05 : Srinagar Local Sightseeing

     

    After breakfast we visit the Mughal Gardens , Chashmi-e Shahi (The Royal Spring), Nishat (The
    Garden of pleasure) Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love). Tulip Garden ,Shankracharya Temple.on
    the DalLake . Overnight at the Hotel.
     

    Day 06 : Srinager – kargil viasonmarg and Zojilla pass 3527 mts (205 km ) it will take (6-7hrs)

     

    Early in the morning after breakfast drive towards Kargil . After crossing the city is another
    spectacular facet of country side in Kashmir in Sindh valley . The Sindh valley is largest tributary
    of the valley of Kashmir. After sonmarg most rough road and wet Zojilla pass (Gate way of
    Ladakh) This road continue to drive Drass (The Second coldest inhibited village in world ) after
    more two and half hours drive to Kargil at the altitude of (2715 mts) overnight in Hotel
     

    Day 07 : Kargil to Leh (235 kms)(6-7 hours) via Namki la pass and Photola pass.

     

    After breakfast, leave for Leh. On the way halt at Lamayuru Monastery which is one of the
    oldest monasteries of Ladakh and then to pass through Mulbekh which has the famous Lord
    Buddha Sculpture. Transfer to Hotel. Rest of the day free to get acclimatised to the high
    altitude.Evening visit the famous Shanti Stupa built by the Japanese. Overnight in Leh.
     

    Day 08 : Explore Indus valley.(around 98 kms)

     

    On this day you will go a sightseeing trip to some ancient monasteries and most
    popular in this area.
    SheyGompa is about 15 kms from Leh. It used to be the summer palace of the kings of Ladakh.
    There are lots of Stupas and Gompas built around the palace. Shey palace was built by
    DeldanNamgyal in the beginning of 17’Th century AD. Main attraction in Shey is the 12m
    Shakyamuni Buddha statue inside the DresthangGompa.
    ThikseyGompa, close to Shey is about 17 kms from Leh. The monastery is considered to be one
    of the most beautiful in Ladakh and belongs to the Gelukspa order. This Monastery is more
    than 500 year old.
    Hemis Monastery, about 45 kms south of Leh it is one of the most famous and largest
    monastery in Ladakh. It belongs to the Drukpa order and was founded in the early 17’Th
    century. The setting is perfect with the monastery cradled in a lovely valley, surrounded by
    Mountain and fronted by long Mani walls.

    Day 09 : Leh to Nubra valley:

     

    Post breakfast we drive to Nubra Valley. The road journey from Leh to Nubra Valley passes over
    Khardung La (The Highest Motorable Road In The World) at 5,602 Mtrs / 18,390 Ft, around 39
    km from Leh. From the pass, one can see all the way south over the Indus valley to seemingly
    endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range, and north to the giants of the Saser massif.
    Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldumra or the valley of flowers. It is situated in the north of
    Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. The average altitude of
    the valley is 10,000 Ft. above sea level.
    Upon arrival in Nubra we check in at our Camp / Hotel in Hunder, have a rest till evening
    ,before sun set we will take you for a short drive to Hunder sand dunes to visit & ride double
    humped bacterium camel, later back to accommodation for overnight stay
    If time permits we will walk around the tiny villages to see how the locals live in this part of the
    world. A visit to a Ladakhi home can be arranged. Overnight Stay at the Camp or Hotel.
     

    Day 10 : Nubra to Leh

     

    Morning after breakfast we will visit the most picturesque Disket monastery on the hill top.
    Later continue drive to other side of Nubra valley – was the main part of silk route.we will
    continue our drive back to Leh via Khardongla. Reach Leh& transfer to Hotel overnight stay.
     

    Day 11 : Leh – Pangong, via Chang la (pass)(5320mts) (5-6hrs),

     

    After breakfast, drive (154km/ 6 hrs) to the spectacular Changthang Valley, winding your way
    over the exhilarating Chang la (5320m.)- The second highest point of our journey. The
    landscape on the way to Pangong is just spectacular. Over night in fixed camp or guesthouse.
     

    Day 12 : Pangong Explore and drive back to Leh.

     

    The Lake is situated at 13,930 ft./ about 4300mts. above sea level and is 125 km long, but is
    only four km at its widest, and extends almost in a straight line, way to Tibet; in fact, only a
    quarter of the lake is in India. En route you will see some Himalayan marmots & migrated birds.
    Later retrace to Leh for overnight in a hotel
     

    Day 13 : Drop to Airport

     

    Leave Ladakh with sweet memories.
